Introducing: The moment you stop and realize, "I think I'm going to be OK."

Exhale.

It's the moment where, you haven't yet "made it" to the other side of a big obstacle (or multiple in a row), but that light just flickered at the end of the tunnel.

The obstacle(s) could be anything, different for everybody, but I'm not talking about those right now. [[I don't want to talk about those anymore. I'm blue in the face, talking about those!]]

The hope. Your muscles deciding to rest for the first second in weeks, letting go of the fear.

Have you ever thought about this moment? I haven't. Self-awareness and some alone time have taught me about it this morning. It's a very quaint and quiet little experience; you should try to watch for it. When you find it, sit and soak for a second.

Thank your muscles for holding you up in the face of stress, for as long as they did. Thank God for the challenges and the resolutions. Notice all the people who stepped up while you struggled.

And breathe it out, say goodbye to the anguish. 'til next time, my dear friend.

Stress is a self-preservation tactic, a physical response to tell you to protect yourself. Thank you, but thank you for leaving.
